Adele’s Easy On Me is fighting for a seventh week at No. 1. Last week it became her longest-running single in the UK, overtaking Someone Like You and in our First Look update, Easy On Me Seems ready for another week on top – her closest competitor is Adele herself with I Drink Wine, which could climb two places to a new high of number 2.

Brighton rapper ArrDee is also eyeing a new high in the official singles rankings. As it stands, Flowers (Say My Name) could jump four spots to number 3. That would be a new high for the track, as well as the highest peak ArrDee has ever reached on the chart so far.

With the start of December fast approaching, it sounds like Mariah Carey and Wham’s Christmas classics too! are set to return to the Top 10 for the first time this year. Currently, All I Want For Christmas Is You looks set to climb 18 spots at number 6, while Last Christmas is at 19 at number 9. Last year the two party classics topped the official singles chart for the first time since their respective releases in 1994. and 1984.

Sam Fender’s Seventeen Going Under could also go on to reach a new high in the official singles rankings. He is currently climbing two spots to number 7, which would make him Sam’s best ranking in the singles rankings to date. Previously, the track became his first to land the Top 10.

Apart from the Top 10, two other party classics are also set to return to the Top 20 for the first time this year. Shakin ‘Stevens could jump from 33rd to 19th place, while The Pogues starring Kirsty MacColl’s Fairytale of New York are currently looking to jump 24 places to 20th place.
